Comments on: Change N97 product code to get the latest firmware updates

I have changed the product code on my n97 many times using nemesis. Read outs were correct afterwards. I restarted the n97. However, NSU fails to update beyond v12.xy. Is there anything else that should be changed ?

Hey guys.
Changed the product code as described and updated to latest Fw. Everything was fine. Unfortunately I have to send it to Nokia care service now and was trying to change the product code to the original one. But it does not work. The NSS-software says "Done" when I'm trying to "write" but if I press the "read" button again it will show the changed product code again. Do I have to consider anything elese when changing back to the original??

Hi, Thanks for the info – all worked well, except I applied the incorrect Update, as it changed my keyboard layout from a QWERTY layout to a AZERTY layout (French I think)

How do I revert to an earlier firmware or an alternative of the same version (2.0.045)?

If I have RM-507 0575400 can I change it to a product code for RM-505 0570817??

Try restarting and then doing it agai, if you havent done it yet.

Last resort would be a hard reset. Try another product code, if theres a spcific problem with this one.

Update me on what happened.
