Official support for Ovi Maps on N97 will be coming on 28th Jan 2010. But you can get it working on your N97 right now! Heres how.
Step 1. Download the Ovi Maps .sis file from http://nokia.com/maps/download/ Select phone as Nokia N97 Mini. Click on the square area from the pic below.
Step 2. Copy the Ovi Maps .sisx file to your N97. And using File Manager on your mobile, open the Maps .sisx to install.
Everything else is as per instructions.
So now you have Ovi Maps running on your N97 before its supported officially. Word of caution here, this is not recommended. Memory space on your C drive after install will go down. New firmware and official support for Ovi Maps will be coming on 28th Jan, most probably.

Works great to install an use on N97, and it took only about 10MB of space on c:
why i cannot install into my Nokia N97. Error message always shows “Not enough memory to install. Pls delete some data in C:” Why don’t we can install in Mass memory ?
