Nokia N97 firmware is now updated to v30.0.016, and N97 Mini firmware is updated to v20.0.016. These updates are available both via Nokia Software Updater and OTA.
Nokia releases its firmwares region wise, if you dont receive the new firmware – check back in few days time. No changelog is released as of now.

At this time, even NAVIFIRM doesn’t show the new firmware for N97 Mini. Even Nokia’s “can I update” site doesn’t show it. Still at 11.0.045 for PC : 0585087 (EMEA Generic Cherry Black)
Theres been pics posted on various blogs which show people are getting the update. Will take a day or two max i guess.
Hi from italy! Just bought brand new NOKIA not branded n97mini (fw v.11.0.105.C01.01)! OVI SUITE DOES NOT SYNC contacts (outlook or windows mail) under windows7! Nokia told me to wait for update! Hope new FW (when available here) will fix it! Coming from a Windows Phone I AM VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED! No wonder nokia is loosing parts of the market!!!
Well… After about 20 days… still no 30.x firmware… neither OTA, nor through NSU, and NAVIFIRM only still shows 10.X and 11.X for N97 Mini (RM-555).
Firmware 12.0.110 is now available OTA for my N97 Mini in France!
Note that we are not at 20.x.y as was initially announced…
