Apple posted a video which showed N97 Mini network towers going down from 7 to 2 when they held it in a particular way. I like macs, but Apple did the absolute wrong thing in putting up their competitors phones for comparison. No one never had any problem with N97 towers all this time. Just because they have a faulty product and they need to sell it, they are putting it all up. Kindergarden stuff in my opinion.

July 4th, 2010Nokia released new firmwares for N97 [ v22.0.110] and N97 Mini [ v12.0.110 ]. You can get it OTA [over the air] and also via Nokia Software Updater.
Changelog:
- Maps 3.3 with free Navigation built-in
- Nokia Messaging stub built-in
- Default screen brightness raised to 75%
- Default theme now the jet black ‘Nseries 2′, giving longer battery life than the previous ‘Nseries 3′
- RAM optimisations
- Miscellaneous bug fixes
Update – Ovi Store v1.07(12)
June 22nd, 2010Nokia updated Ovi Store to v1.07(12), the earlier one was v1.06(18). You can now see more applications of a single category without changing pages, the ‘load more items’ section keeps you in the same page but extends the application list. Niceee!

N97 & N97 Mini gets new firmware!
June 2nd, 2010Nokia N97 firmware is now updated to v30.0.016, and N97 Mini firmware is updated to v20.0.016. These updates are available both via Nokia Software Updater and OTA.
Nokia releases its firmwares region wise, if you dont receive the new firmware – check back in few days time. No changelog is released as of now.
