FunApp – FingerPrint for N97
FingerPrint : an app to lock-unlock your n97. This is more of an fun app and not security oriented but i guess it can be used for security purposes as well, if configured properly.
When the FingerPrint screen pops up, you need to touch your finger to the screen to be “scanned” for your identity, there will be vibration and beep sounds during the scan. The phone will be unlocked not depend on whose finger it is, but on how many beeps or vibrations since your finger touch the screen

Nokia N97 Mini ?
Engadget posted a rather convincing looking ‘mini’ Nokia N97 yesterday. They go on to say, “The device is slightly smaller and slightly slimmer than the regular N97, and it’s also received a few subtle design changes, particularly on the back, where the camera has lost its sliding cover.”
The ‘Mini’ N97 doesnt make any business or logical sense to me. The current N97 has some brilliant features, all it needs is a better firmware.

Review : N97 QWERTY keyboard
One of the highlights of the Nokia N97 is its QWERTY keyboard. All the reviews i came across before i got my N97 said its all good. I got mine last week (finally !). Wanted to use it for at least a week before putting up a review, hence the delay.
So hows it ?
Its REALLY good. This is my first phone with a qwerty keyboard and it took me 5 mins to get used to the whole system. Typing is super smooth. I like how they have placed the D-pad on the left side. Everyone mentions how tiny the space bar is, but for me thats a huge plus (also, its not that small even). » Read more: Review : N97 QWERTY keyboard
